2008 Sharp Award for Safety
This award recognizing outstanding safety performance during our series of projects for a computer disk drive manufacturer in Singapore was presented by the government of Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower and Workplace Safety and Health Advisory Committee. It follows a previous 2007 Sharp Award and 2006 “Silver Award” from the Singapore government for this same project.
2008 Daily Journal of Commerce (DJC) Public Buildings $15.1 to $50 Million, First Place
This award was presented for the State of Oregon, Public Health Laboratories & Department of Environmental Quality (PHL/DEQ.) Innovative adaptive reuse strategies maximized usable space for labs these labs that support diverse public health and safety missions including Bio-Safety Level 3 (BSL-3). Large open suites accommodate multiple functions and quick response to epidemic or environmental emergencies.
2007 Excellence in Concrete, Grand Award
The highest award presented by the Washington Aggregates & Concrete Association in 2007 is the Grand Award for the best overall concrete design in the State of Washington. This award was presented to IDC Architects for the innovative design of Berlex Laboratory's Project Atlas.
2007 Excellence in Concrete, Tilt-up Structures Category, Non Industrial Merit
Also presented to the Berlex, Atlas design team was the Washington Aggregates & Concrete Association award for the most artful tilt-up concrete project in the state.
2006 Interior Design Citation Award
This award for a Molecular Research Laboratory project in Oregon was presented by the Oregon Chapters of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), American Institute of Architects (AIA), and Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).
